Theodore Roosevelt High School PTA (TRHS)

Our Mission:

We strive to support and advocate for our children by partnering with staff, families, and the wider community to create a safe and healthy learning environment allowing our students to excel personally, academically and socially.

  • A communication link between parents and the school

  • Opportunities for parents to connect to the school and its staff

  • Parent education about topics affecting teenagers and their families

  • Collaboration with the TRHS administration to support programs and events to benefit TRHS students.

  • Having a voice in your community

  • Establishing relationships with school administrators, teachers, parents and students

  • Gaining information concerning legislative and community issues affecting your child's education

Become a TRHS PTA member at any time by completing a Membership Form from this website.  Membership dues, $20 per person and $10 for a TRHS staff member, are used to fund programs offered by TRHS PTA throughout the year.  TRHS PTA is a non-profit, 501c3 organization.

Learn about parent activities and see how you can help our school by attending quarterly PTA meetings. Association meetings are held four times a year on September 14th,  November 9th, January 11th and April 12th, at 5:30pm in the TRHS library.

Membership in the TRHS PTA automatically enrolls you in the Iowa and National PTA organizations. Together we are a powerful voice for children. With your help, we can continue to work toward PTA's goal of a quality education and nurturing environment for every child. Here are some useful links:
